Sandro Mirianashvili is a great Georgian composer, self-taught artist and ethnographer. The museum stores a large number of musical notes, works of art, canvases made by his own hands, as well as numerous ethnographic items collected by his own hands. The museum also stores musical instruments from different periods, photo-journalistic materials and a large book fund. His contribution to the development of Georgian classical music is invaluable. He was born in 1914 in Sighnaghi and died in 1987. He is buried in Tbilisi.
