The great Georgian theater director Sandro Akhmeteli is one of the founders of Georgian Theatre. His famous plays are ,, Anzor”, ,,Lamara '' and other brilliant works of the great director. These performances brought great success to the Georgian theater in his country and abroad. His life was sacrificed by the repressions in 1937, he was shot at the age of 51. One of the State Theatre in Tbilisi is named after him. Models of various performances, posters, photo-journalistic materials and household items are stored in the Museum
